Tea time is Me time
And I am worth my time.

The Passion Translation follows it with: “Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life.”
This is the permission (you didn’t need but thought you did) to take time for yourself…
Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup.
BTS*note: I admired the beauty in this cup of tea until it went as cold as my toes and the flames flickered from deeper in their pillars. It really was a deliciously delightful way to end my day. Although I did love that cup of unintentional iced tea, I think I’ll put the kettle back on and give it another go. It’s still early.
Nothing beats trying not to burn your lips lest you end up with iced tea…. Again.
